Jennifer Newman - Interior Designer
Jennifer is an independent contractor designer but has been associated with New Seabury Homes or its affiliates since 2005. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from Endicott College, she worked for the Green Company on various communities, when she was recruited by New Seabury to create and lead the design department. She assisted buyers with making their selections for homes in Poppy Place, Promontory Point, Seaside, Sea Quarters and Vineyard Reach, as well as worked on many amenities including the Cabana Club, Sales Cottage, Sea Quarters' Stay and Plays, the Country Club and Athletic Club. In 2007, after marrying her high school sweetheart, Jen relocated to southern California as a proud military spouse, where she currently supports her husband's endeavors in the U.S. Navy Seabees. Through the years, she has continued to work remotely with New Seabury in different capacities and on various in-house designs; she now works closely with the Selections Coordinator to create all individual home specific plans including, but not limited to, framing, finished lower levels, rough plumbing, electrical, kitchen/bath/built-in designs, flooring and tile elevations. Jennifer is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers and member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
Born and raised in Falmouth, Jennifer now resides in Ventura County, CA with her husband of 14 years, two children and golden retriever. In addition to spending time with her family, Jen enjoys traveling, hiking/camping, antiquing, baking and photography. What she misses most about Cape Cod life is the seafood (especially Popponesset's lobster roll), warm ocean water and sunsets at Chapoquoit Beach. Although forever a New Englander at heart, she has become accustomed to spending time outside in shorts and sandals during SoCal "winters", and gladly lets her east coast colleagues know it. She is looking forward to moving back to the Cape with her family, after retiring from military life.
-
Jennifer Quigley - Design Selections Manager
Jennifer comes to New Seabury Homes with 17 years of experience working in interior design for custom homes, renovations and small commercial projects on the Cape. She has special design skills in this resort market having been born and raised a Cape Codder living in Falmouth.
After completing her undergraduate studies at UMass Amherst, Jennifer attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles to continue her education in marketing and design. But the east coast sea breezes brought her back home to be closer to family and the beaches she knew best. Jennifer has a true passion for design and has built and designed her own homes as well as rental properties. She still lives close by New Seabury in her hometown with her husband and two daughters and enjoys spending time with them at her most recent project – their back patio and pool.
